A Baby Sign Language series for parents and babies.
This series is for you and your infant or toddler, 8-24 months old. If your baby already speaks a few
words, that's great! Learning to sign will help them to increase their vocabulary even faster.
You will learn basic signs, baby conversation skills and the subtle nuances that deepen your
relationship with your child. Each class builds on the previous week, allowing for practice and personal
coaching as needed. The signs we use are based on American Sign Language (ASL) and you are
encouraged to adopt and adapt it to suit your family. At the end of the class, you will know 48 signs
and your baby will be using a number of them regularly.
This series will open the door to your baby's world. You will be seeing and understanding your
child in a whole new way. Your baby needs specific things, wants to know about specific things and this
is a way to unlock their asking and telling. In addition, your baby will experience higher levels of self
esteem, have a larger vocabulary and connect better with the people in his life. Many parents share that
tantrums and frustration are also greatly reduced.

You will receive Baby Signs, a workbook with pictures of the 48 signs and information about baby sign
language.
There are 4 classes in the series.
Each class is 45 minutes of instruction/participation and 10 minutes of sharing and questions.
We meet on Wednesdays, 10-11am
