On Saturday, April 21, 2012, we’re looking forward to
breaking the record that was set in 2011. The Great Cloth
Diaper Change will be the grand finale of the International Cloth
Diaper Awareness Week, April 16 to 21, 2012.
10:00: Doors Open
10:30: Cloth Diaper Demos, Workshop and Coaching
11:45: Get Ready for Changing Diapers...
12:00 PM: WORLDWIDE SIMULTANEOUS DIAPER CHANGE
12:15: The Diaper Derby
12:30: Diaper Free: Elimination Communication Demo
12:15 - 2 pm: Diaper Swap and Sale
Bring your used cloth diapers to swap or sell. You can bring any
kind of cloth diaper or accessory: covers, all-in-ones, sprayers,
wipes, liners, diaper bags, pail liners, soakers, etc.
If you donate them, you will get a $10.00 NBNP Gift Certificate.
If you sell them, have them labeled with your name and prices.
NBNP will collect the money for you. There is a $10 handling
charge per seller and a 5% handling fee if your buyer uses a
credit card. At 5 pm, you can collect your money, or you can get
it next time you are in.
All diapers must be clean. Bear in mind that stains, rips and
worn out covers, (much as you may love that particular item!)
won't be acceptedl.

3. Cloth Diapers are available for any participant who needs one.
4. Child must be shorter than 39"
5. One adult for each baby/child.
In 2011, a Guinness World Record was set for the most cloth
diapers changed simultaneously with 5,026 participants at 127
locations in 5 countries. The total number of participating hosts
(not all qualified for the GWR) reporting were 203 with 6,363
participants from 10 countries! $5,167 was donated to the Real
Diaper Association.
Join us at New Baby New Paltz for fun, food, and a lot of
goodies!
This is a great opportunity to increase awareness about
reusable cloth diapers! With your help, this can be an even
BIGGER event than last year – - in fact, it will HAVE to be if we’
re going to break the record! (By the way, that Guinness World
Record was 5,026 babies simultaneously changed into reusable
cloth diapers in 5 countries!)
